Are you trying as root? It's because XScreensaver not run with that account,
but with another one it must work properly.
In any case, if you have doubt about the integrity of XScreensaver, you can
try rpm -V .rpm and check the result.

Did you read my early post???. You need to update your gphoto2 files and
libraries. I had the same problem with my Canon PowerShot S45. After

Check /etc/ld.so.conf to make sure it is correct. Also libraries are
searched based on the environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH .

service file for sshd. Is there no hosts control for sshd using tcp
