I'm having the same problem and have for some time. This is a new series SIS900 Ethernet controller (rev 91) and the driver in RH 8.0 does not work with it yet. Others have reported that the latest version of the driver in the 2.5.46 kernel does work properly. I haven't tried it yet - if the update
