now the tarball is in /usr/src/Redhat/SOURCES as a non rpm file

in your home dir make a rpm dir, cd into this and now as root copy the dir
structure of /usr/src/redhat to your own dir, adjust permissions to the
user that will make rpms, and place the atteched macro file below in the
homedir

i have setup my .rpmmacros so i can build rpms non rooted with is the
way to go as in newer build anything as root if it could be done none
rooted :)
