how to make a rpm package from filename.tar.gz ?
rpmbuild -tb tarball
man rpmbuild
i have setup my .rpmmacros so i can build rpms non rooted with is the way to go as in newer build anything as root if it could be done none rooted :)
i'm using Red Hat Linux 8
i use fedora back ported rpms for redhat 8 with apt get
