"A file containing CA certificates of root CAs trusted to sign either
remote SMTP server certificates or intermediate CA certificates."
and for 'smtp_tls_CApath':

I have another instance of postfix working against other smarthost

I'm getting a TLS timeout (4.4.2) when connecting to the smarthost
(port 465). If I try with no TLS (port 25) it connects and sends
emails.
I can successfully connect with 'openssl s_client ...' and this way it
says there is a 300 seconds timeout (same as in the log below).

When using sendmail binary, I have found two sources of errors.
- No recipients.
- Not authorized (user is not in 'authorized_submit_users').
I have two questions:

2) Is there a way to authorize a user to use sendmail but

and no alias is defined, I'd like to get an error (not to miss any

I have a host with services sending mails through sendmail binary. To get
some fault tolerance, I have set
notify_classes = bounce, delay, policy, protocol, resource, software
However, I get notifications with the headers but not the body of the
original mail. Is there a way not to miss the origi

Postfix generates DSNs with the following header:
Content-Type: multipart/report; report-type=delivery-status;
boundary="XX"
Is there a way for DSNs to be text/plain formatted? Something like:
Content-Type: text/plain
I need my smarthost to forward these mails but it does no
Finally it was simple. I had to change port number also in the sasl_passwd
file.
Thanks a lot.

I'm trying to setup a postfix client that sends every mail to an smarthost.
I'm playing around with the configuration to make it fit my needs. So that,
I have opened port 25 in the smarthost with no tls and I am sniffing the
communication with tcpdump.
However, i can't get postfix to send the auth
