But then one rpm-ifies the entire structure, and the postfix/postdrop
user/group comes in magically? Or does the package maintainer

Hm...
setgid_group = postdrop
is present in main.cf. The only changes I made to main.cf are in regards
to alias_maps and the my* parameters.

the filter provided to ldapsearch if invoked on the command line) affect
the search base?
