Hi Philippe - i would prefer to stick to "non-destructive testing" ;)
Just noting again that Spotty/Spotify do not seem to be working through
UPnPBridge and Sonos -this is the case for both Bridge versions .10 and
.11. I tried starting a Spotify album a couple of times with Sonos

Here is the 2.1.12.11 log with same mp3 tracks. Seemingly normal volume
behaviour this time - i tried increasing and decreasing the volume
several times in the first 2 tracks in 5% increments in LMS/Material
Skin, and the actual volume was consistent with those control changes. I
stopped it in t

Yes i will try .11 later today - what is the issue you are seeing, and
why do think i should have experienced it ea
Hi Philippe - i have taken another log, attached. Same mp3 tracks but
the volume behaviour seemed normal this time, UNTIL i thought i would
try clicking the volume 5% higher in Material skin near the end of track

Hi Philippe I attach a log from 2.1.12.10 trial (Win 10 i7 laptop -
all UpNP Bridge settings at default other than binary set to static.)
Same mp3 tracks as the last few logs - no skips, but continuing

Hi Philippe I attach a log from 2.1.12.6 trial (Win 10 i7 laptop - all

Hi Philippe - as promised, the green dot of 2.1.12.2 appeared today -
and i am pleased to report that you have narrowly avoided myself and
@SamY nicknaming you "Skippy" ;) The new version played the same mp3
tracks as yesterday - no skips this time in the first 6 tracks! I
stopped it in track 7.
Hi Philippe fwiw, I attach a log from 2.1.12.1 (Win 10 i7 laptop - all
UpNP Bridge settings at default other than binary set to static.)
Different mp3 tracks than before - first track played through, 2nd and
3rd track skipped, 4th track played through, stopped it in track 5. I
am happy to keep
Hi Philippe I have (belatedly) moved my reporting to this UPnP

Hi Philippe - here is the log from an attempt at playing the same mp3
tracks with 2.1.10 (Win 10 i7 laptop - all UpNP Bridge settings at

- the tracks would start playing but there was weird distortion in each

here is the log of playing the same mp3 tracks again with UpNP Bridge
2.1.8 on Win 10 i7 laptop - same skips in tracks 3 and 4 as with 2.1.6.
I stopped it in track 5 (note log starts at 08:30ish but tracks weren't
started until 10:06) MS C++ redistributable is installed.

Good Mornings all - installed 2.1.8 via LMS with no problems on Win 10
i7 laptop, LMS 8.3. I reported yesterday that the installation of the
MS C++ redistributable after using 2.1.6 caused my UPnP players to
disappear from LMS. They also did not appear this morning after starting
up the laptop a
Hi Philippe - me again. I installed 2.1.6 via LMS and gave the same mp3
tracks as in previous logs a spin - but i did NOT first download the
microsoft C++ update you recommended in the settings for Windows users -
the result is the attached log, with a return to the skips toward the
end of track
Hi Philippe as if you didnt have enough to worry about already, now
you have been set upon by an angry zombie! :-)

Hi Philippe - before i was able try playing the same tracks with
antivirus off, i noticed you pushed out an update of UPnPBridge (2.1.1)

Hi Phillipe - thanks for your continued work on these plug-ins. I got
around to trying your new version of UPnP Bridge - version 2.0.7.3 on
LMS 8.3.0, on a Win 10 laptop with i7 processor. I thought you might
want another test result of the new plug-in, as i once again experienced
the track skip

Yes i have saved a few more logs of subsequent album plays, and they all
seem incomplete - the time stamp in the logs is only for 3 or 4 minutes
when the album in fact played for its whole length. The good news at
least, is that 3 differ

Hi Phillipe - to answer your previous question, there is no
skipping/truncating of tracks when playing to the "real Squeezebox"
devices in LMS - only through UPNpBridge.
I tried your suggestion re gapless - there are 3 settings, "yes

Hello Phillipe and all. I have used UPNpBridge for a few years, and
have never been able to fully resolve the track skipping/truncating
issue reported by various people here, and I am hoping you can make some
suggestions based on a recent log. I have recently reinstalled LMS 8.2.1
on a Win 10 HP

In case Julf did not already find this, you go on squeezebox.com to get

"App Gallery".

Firstly, a big thanks to Phillippe for the Upnp bridge this is a
brilliant plug-in that has greatly enhanced my use of LMS by allowing
the orphans (a Naim QB2 and now a Sonos Roam) to join the LMS family.
My minor issue (and it may or may not be a Upnp bridge issue) is that,
