To debug this, there several areas to check.
(1) Is direct ALSA playback working as expected on your system?
(2) Is playback via pulseaudio working?
(3) Has the "squeezelite" package been correctly installed and correctly
configured?

I tried "pulse", but audio quality is worsened, and I got lots of

I've just update my Synology DSM 5.0-4482 with LMS 7.7.3 - 1375965195,
Perl 5.18.1-0012 with this brillant plugin Spotify 2.3.6.
Before the update I had no problem with playlist and playing artist on
Spotify via my Nas. But now I've this strange behaviour on each list:

On a Classic you need to hold play button on IR remote for a while to
launch the context menu, at least that works in my own 7
