Just acquired Spotify Premium. Installed Triode's plugin (thanks).
Everything is OK, finding music from the handset etc, until I press
play, then I get 'connecting...connection timed out'. The port is
open in firewall settings, which the test button asked me to check. Any
ideas please?

7.7.1). Before i did add the user slimserver and tried several other
tweeks, no idea what made it run now. Now i have to pray that i never
will have to install the lms again... Can i backup the installation or

This is a basic lms configuration issue and has nothing to do with
squeezeslave, all players behave the same.
Go to the settings page, player tab, pick the player from the drop down
list, change the player name field and click apply.

Thanks. A glimmer of understand begins in my slow brain.
To reiterate, my custom scan set up does not include composer, or
conductor or indeed any tags except non-standard ones WORK, MOVEMENT,
WORKARTIST, SETID (and latterly TITLE as well).
I have another menu, Albums by Composer, which works
You download directly via AndroidPit, they have their own market App,
it's really exactly the same as with SlideMe.
