I set my scan to not pre-cache artwork (it was hanging up there) and then purged LMS:
aptitude purge logitechmediaserver Although the purge will remove configuration files, it will not remove the preferences folder. So when LMS is reinstalled and the WebUI is opened for the first time, it retains those preferences.
