That is the correct path - it does not map directly to a real path on your

OK... when I use SoftSqueeze as a player, I can get to the extras
display and enable or disable, and it works. The problem is, I'm

Nice, Pippin!
As I asked before, do you know if there is a way we could (thru Ipeng

David,
good to hear that. What did the trick?
Did you use 0.4.5 or 0.4?

Yes, first deleted the plugin cache file only, then deleted the entire
cache directory. Of course stopped and restarted SqueezeCenter every
time I re-installed and emptied the cache.

The path to the settings page is expected to look like that.
SqueezeCentre works out what it's supposed to be (I've no idea why this is
necessary).
Are you deleting the plugin cache file? If not, that's probably why it's not

PS. Is it just me, or is the SqueezeCentre 7.0 plugin
Yeah this is because they don't provide the bitrate of channels in the
main channel list. Maybe I'll manually mark the 48k channels as such
to avoid confusion.

Finally got it all working!
Very nice bit of work. Internet radio is already easier to use.
Only thing is I have to sort out my tags, they are a mess!
Cheers for all the hard work pippin!

Hi,
Is it possible to add standard SC menus (which are not included when
installing the plugin) within the CustomBrowse menu? Example:
CustomBrowse
|--Settings
|--Now playing
If yes, how can I find the Id/html which needs to be referred to for a
particular standard menu?

I stand corrected, thanks. When you first log in to a Sirius talk
channel using Squeeze Network, it states 128kbps. However, if you
click "Now Playing" on the remote and then check the bit rate again, it
states 48kbps.

To run SC from a command prompt.

hi BPA
thanks for the reply - that doesn't appear to be the solution,
unfortunately. Mplayer and socketwrapper have the blessing of my

Good suggestion, thanks, it worked.
BTW, Howard Stern is now streaming at 48kbps over SqueezeNetwork (CNN
and BBC are still at 128kbps).

I used to have a 32bit chroot set up for slimserver and mplayer (with
the w32codecs package) to be able to use alien
BTW, since I've only got two SBs, the maximum number of players I could
test this with is four (SB3, SBR and two SoftSqueezes) so I will be
happy to get your feedback on the usability of the MultiPlayer Control
with more than four players :-)
