Could you please upload _full_ server.log and scanner.log (Application
Data/Logs/SqueezeCenter or similar)?
I'm shy about installing any plugins or add-ons unless I'm sure nothing
will get screwed up. Therefore I must ask: Is the WeatherTime
Screensaver only for the USA? When attempting to register at
weather.com for a user ID, it requires a US zip code. I'm in Hong Kong.
Does this mean this plugin is u

I guess I will have to put this down to the ghost in the machine!
Tried one last time:
1
Deleted all traces of SC (logs, caches, the works).
2
Reinstalled OS X from combo updater.
3
Fresh install of SC 7.0 & let it run the first scan.
4
Stopped SC and installed Album Review plugin. (The one

Hi All,
I have few questions and will appriciate your feedback:
Is any way to create multiple virtual Slim Devices?
If on the computer I have multiple sound cards is a way to assign
specific sound card to the virtual slim device.
Thank you

Hello,
I added plug-in of "wikiradio" for the first time today.
I started the slim server and connected with "wikiradio."
However, an error message outputs and "wikiradil" cannot be used.
The error message which the slim server outputted is as follows.
There was an error loading the remote f

In fact I have tried several times with a clean install and no other
plugins.
All I can think of doing next is to do a fresh install of OS X from a
combo updater, just in case something in the OS is making this happen.

We will definately be able to make skipping work with 7.1 from the
player button interface, the question is how easy it is to use the new
mechanism rather than just allow us to continue with the old mechanism.
It would be nice to use the new one so the controller can also be
supported, but this ne

Yes, I have been using 6.5 and 7, but only recently tried these 2
plugins. I made sure to delete all traces of ss/sc before trying the
fresh installs. By a process of elimination, I am sure the failure to
scan is down to these plugins. When I say that, I mean it happens when

I don't know why synched playback didn't work as it just an URL that is
playing but looks like there is a mixup between AlienBBC ffwd/rew keys
and SC use of FFW/REW for audio files.
It is unlikely any change/fix will be made to AlienBBC for 7.0.x as
FFW/REW has to be altered to make it work with

Thanks for the reply.
I'm using SC 7.0 with SB3s. I didn't recognise the behaviour you've
stated for this combination but I think I've just established that's
because I had 2 players synced when I was trying skip forward. When I
try on an unsynced player it works a treat.
With the synced players

AlienBBC skip forward/backward works in SC 7.0.x. The new SC 7.1

I think the confusion in the threads you mention are because it was a
feature that was being implemented .
