Could somebody point me to a OCR tool on Linux which has a GUI
interface and also works well.
I have tried tesseract, and it requires so much fiddling around
that it's probably faster to type in the text I want to run ocr
on...see, for example

Hi,
Aisle Riot Solitaire is not starting up at all in my Ubuntu 12.04. Spent
quite a lot of time googling, but unable to find something that will
solve the problem.
