After Neepen's talk I found that there is quite a lot of interest in
knowing GNU/Linux Kernel Internals (Kernel internals, device drivers,
design strategy, guidelines ...)
I know a bit about how kernel design has been transforming from 2.4 to
3.5 and further.
I can share this in a talk, keeping th

For those who are interested in writing drivers for the linux kernel (for

carry their own laptops and build together.

A lot of people evinced interest, so I'd like to know who'd really want to
attend. The first would be first-week December 2012.

I am quite sure this message is not going to make it because of some
rules on the number of recipients in the "to" field.
I am definitely going to find another forum or create one for
convenience sake as it has been __SO__DIFFICULT__ to change the

Hi Everyone on this list,
We will be using a USB Storage device (preferably) and altering a
driver to add an addition "sysctl" layer to it to enable USB storage
device classes and an optional clear-text secure password to allow the

This exercise will essentially involve building a driver li

Hi Everyone,
The Kernel talk scheduled on 19-Jan-2013 has been postponed to
26-Jan-2013 due to unavailability of the auditorium at that time.
I will reconfirm the same early next week and send a mail as the
revised date coincides with Republic day.
