What is your alternative for businesses that have years of data
accumulated via their windows apps that do run under wine and they are
unwilling to go through the headache of d
in my case WINE and it's capability to run prof win apps helped
convert some users (who don't care about what is under the hood, but
their work) to Linux... They eventually plan to move to Open Source
apps.

Observation over the last few months (maybe more than a year...)
whenever there is a problem loading Mandriva or something on a laptop or a
desktop... i give it a try with Ubuntu and the interesting thing is... that
really works like a charm, no hang ups.. no screen freezes..
