Has anybody worked on ha-oscar ?
Actually, we have installed and configured ha-oscar on 3 identical PCs
with Linux 9.0 as OS. One as Server, second as Standby and third as the
node. The standover server was taking over as the server after failover of
main server. But since yesterday, the same is
Dexter I think u are talking of the D-link modem, b'coz AFAIK that is
the only modem which comes with a driver for Linux on it driver disk.
and it also costs 350...:-)

Hello Plug members,
I have installed java1.5.0 and made necessary links to firefox
plugins dir.
On edit--preferences--download--plugins
I see only flash plugin..swf.
Where is java plugin...usually a long list.

P.S: I tested firefox and it plays all applets.

be one of those winmodems. The modems working off serial port are most
safe however and as kaustub
Infact external modems are not costly, if you look at
the amount you have to pay to buy a driver for
softmodem. e.g those available at linuxant
While buying an external modem,"NOW", consider
broadband compatibility also and then you can forget
modem problems for quite some time.

There is some internal modem, I cannot remember the name, but i had set it in
one of the machines containing Suse 9.1 or 9.2 cant remember exactly. But the
modem worked fine and very intrestingly The drivers CD whch came along had
drivers for linux. ;)

Almost every external modem should work well with linux. I have
personally been using a D-Link DFM-560E modem for about 2 years without
any problems at all.
