Dear Maintainer,
I just wanted to confirm that applying the patch you proposed fixes the problem
for me.
Also I enabled v4l2, since the ffmpeg/kodi is making use of v4l2 to decode
video streams. I have not tested the LD_PRELOAD option

but a test failed in the build process

I experimented with kodi on the cubox-i without proprietary extensions. So far
no luck yet, but I think I have not yet hit the hard roadblocks...
First I tried without an X-server directly on framebuffer. How would I tell
kodi not to search for an X11 display?
I get in the kodi crashlog
