How does one find out whether to use vc6 or vc 9?
Obvious answer..depends on which version of visual studio was used
The original download of PHP 5.x.y states the VC^ or VC9 in the file name

I tried 5.3 and found out it had no php_mssql.
Then I retreated to 5.2.10.
Trying to get back to where I had everything worked, I downloaded 5.2.6:
(1) I uninstalled cgi 1.5
(2) php.ini has:
extension_dir = "C:\PHP\ext"
; doc_root = "C:\inetpub\wwwroot" commented out
doc_root =
AL
retreated to 5.2.6...phpinfo.php works
cannot connect to SQL Server 2008 (once worked for months)
doc_root =
cgi.force_redirect = 0 (recommended turned off for IIS)
extension_dir = "C:\PHP\ext"
I uncommented ALL the extensions like:
extension=php_mssql.dll
IIS 5.1 properties->home directory->confi
IIS 5.1 properties->home directory->configuration
I added .php C:\PHP\phpisapi.dll GET,HEAD,POST,DEBUG

Problem with the code below
Works perfectly under Linux Fedora 9 however
Under windows, the first page has an error Notice: Undefined
variable: ExercisePrice in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\new_black_scholes.php on
line 198
stuck in the entry slot for every variable.
I did correct the first slot with
ome reason the PHP evoked shell isnt picking up the
custom regional settings on the machine.
Its easy enough to work around, but is this a bug or have I missed some
finer point about regional settings?
