I get the following mesage when I attempt to configure php php-4.3.4 on
a Dell Optiplex GX 270 running Red Hat Linux version 2.4.9-e.30. The
machine has 1 gig of menory and an 80 gig IDE hard drive.
As you can see, the configure fails and directs me to the debug.log. I
have copied the bri

Well, I just ended up REMOVING support for db3 and got everything working.
Hopefully I don't have any PHP code anywhere that requires db3.
I'd sure love to know how to fix the problem properly though - I don't like
mysteries.

If you remove the " --enable-debug "" from the configure line below it
will build and install okay. But then I hit the problem that I hoped
4.2.3 would address - ImageCreateFromPNG get a segV ever time I call it.
Any ideas on this ?

I was working with phpcoder + php 4.06, that i unstall temporary.
I m looking for a powerfull editor, I found phped in screenshots of the dbg

available in PHPMyAdmin.
Once the database is created (which you say you can see correctly), simply
