i just want to re-compile php in order to support for the mysqli extension.
but i cannot find the directory which contains the configure script
"./configure"

OS 10.2.1 - Latest libmcrypt.
Seems to have something to do with compatibility with older mcrypt
libs, but even after some hacking I couldn't get it to work right...
gcc -Iext/mcrypt/ -I/Users/mitch/desktop/php-4.3.0pre2/ext/mcrypt/

I try to install the Satellite lib for PHP using Apache on a redHat 7.0
with orbit 0.5.3-2 pre-install. But it doesn t want to work. Could

I'm trying to insall php 4.0.6 with oracle8.1.7 and apache1.3.20. I
can get php to configure, but the make command fails with syntax errors.
I'm new to C and php, so any ideas on how/where to research and correct my
problem would be appreciated.

When i read through the php manual online today .. i realise there's a bug
with the File upload function ... when php4.0.4.pl1 runs on redhat 7.0 ..
i was wondering whether is there any patch for it ?? ... coz i really dont
wanna recode the scripts ...
