phpBB (forum software) at directory /srv/http/forum (my document root
is /srv/http). Doing this, the forum works fine. Now, when I
enable mod_python in apache and set the document root (/srv/http) to

I just found the new FDF functions to support Acrobat forms. According to
the documentation at www.php.net I have to download & install the FDF SDK.
I put two files from the C directory of the SDK at:
/usr/lib/php4/libfdftk.so
/usr/include/fdftk.h
Then I figured that I had to put something int

I have a directory with php files that I incorporate into my website as
libraries via a php_include() call, I would like the path to include my
library directory so I can include the library files from any directory.
There is no way to overload php's include path on a user by user basis?

I've read 'bout everywhere I could and I realize there is a ton of issues with how
Solaris (among others) handles their gettext support and the fact that its right in
libc. There are a number of suggestions such as using Solaris's gettext and
reformatting the .mo files (tried that, do

Aha, found the problem. I had:
variables_order = "ES"
in my php.ini file. This was recommended in a book i had as a security
precaution. It was apparently written before the changes to the
register globals default.

the directory doesn't allow executables. I double checked the permissions
in PWS and everything looks good. This seems to be a recurring problem

/var/httpd/error_log tells me that a module was not loaded: PHP. I
haven't figured out how to fix this yet, but it is funny how it happens
when you try to upgrade PHP from a previous version. Your initial
installation works fine, then the upgrade

seams to make and make install fine but when I restart apache it refuse
/catcarscpt/index.php on line 4
the php.ini file is still set to the defaults any ideas on what paths etc to put in to
the php.ini file to get the session control features working thanks.

Hello everyone,
For several days now I have been searching the 'net for information on
Apache and MD5/DES. My search strings have been fairly specific, but no
matter how or where I look, the ones talking the most about Apache, Win32,
MD5, DES are PHP related groups - and you get into it deeply. S
I'm having the same problem. I'm also fairly sure it means that PHP isn't
enabled in apache2/conf/httpd.conf.

Is there a .php web page or web site I can install on our Apache 2 server
that will help in testing our installation?

If I name my file .php and run the printinfo() routine, I get output. But
when the file is named .html or .htm, the printinfo() just displays in the
page.
Is there a way to get .html files to execute the PHP code within them? For
