I've just tried to install PHP 4.3.3 using a Windows php-4.3.3.installer.
exe program on top of my Apache 1.328 on a Windows 2000 pro machine.
Well the Install instructions talk about lots of things, but they don't
work for me.

to point to c:\php.exe. When it points to php.exe, i get the dns error,
when it uses the isapi module i get the 500 error. Help?

You did not compile PHP to build as a DSO. Replace --with-apache2
switch with '--with-apxs2=/path/to/apxs'
