That's only good if you have the build directory and it's intact. You
should always be able to use php -i.

Why? The quotes will be eaten by bash without any problem.

I've been trying to build a php on Centos 5 that supports
FrontBase and Postgresql. So far I haven't had much luck with
getting something that doesn't crash Apache. I suspect I am
missing something and suggestions as to what it is would be most
welcome.

A clean install from the Entropy site managed to get PHP to work in the end.
Can anyone help me out?

Heya, folks, I'm banging my head against a wall here, so any help would be
great. It's a bit long, but I'm hoping that this provides every last
detail you might need to help me figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Yasuo,
Here's what I get when trying to compile the latest snapshot of PHP with
your patch (on FreeBSD 4.2 -- I will try on Slackware 8 next):
OD_SSL=208104 -DEAPI -DUSE_EXPAT -I/usr/home/rick/snaps.php/php4-20020206180

mm and PHP, that is not documented, or is there a problem with Linux and mm
itself? Has anyone here successfully used mm as a session handler? On a
high-performance system?
Any ideas, or should I submit this as a bug? If so, is it a bug with Linux,
with the MM library, or with PHP?
Thanks,

Hi all... I'm having a slight problem getting PHP and MySQL to talk in
Windows XP.
I'm running Apache 1.3, and PHP 4.1.1 by itself seems to work just fine. I
also have MySQL 3.23.47, and it seems to work fine too. I can connect with
MySQLFront to administer it, or even log in through the comman
ions would run.
The server is getting fairly heavy load, often running as many as 300 httpd
processes, each getting very frequent requests.
Any and all help appreciated, because the session usage is killing the
server, and I was hoping mm as a session handler would help.
Thanks,
Rick Morris
