to me like all of the paths for finding the dlls match. The
php_gd2.dll is uncommented in php.ini, but it does not produce and
error message and gd is enabled in the phpinfo.php output.
I have reloaded the php directory from the zip file, but this does not help.
What should I try next?

Got it working and you are right. Dumping OSCOMMERCE shopping cart
and turing it back off! I mainly was interested in being able to
change php.ini and getting the changes working.

I am running the following:
Red Hat 7.3 Kernel 2.4.18-3
Apache 1.3.27
MySQL 3.23.53a rpm binary
PHP 4.2.3
Apache is running fine and serving up web pages.
When I run the PHP test page, it indicates PHP is not running.
The httpd.conf file has this line in Section2:
AddType application/x-httpd-php
sitive that the .php page is itself correct and the problem is with
the server or php config. So what I'm missing here. Am I missing some
packages or what?

Hello im trying to install php 4.2.1 as a mod to
apache 2.0.39 on a redhat 7.3 system. I have compiled
the apache with the --enable-mod=so switch and i have
used the --with-apxs2=/www/bin/apxs switch as well but
when i go to make install php i get teh following

web root. Then, from your My Computer window menu, select View, Options,

okay i've been trying to reconfigure php with curl as an option. i have
curl installed and have problems configuring php so i asked my webhost
if they could reconfigure php exactly the same but just add --with-curl

I have installed MySQL, Apache, and PHP. When I run
the phtml file from Netscape Navigator, I get the text
instead of the phpinf function output.
When I run the .php file from Netscape Navigator, I
get an error message that says PS10.EXE is not found.
It is a Print Shop Deluxe executable. When I
How stupid I am! I had cut and pasted a batch file to run configure
and somehow ended up with 2 --with-mysql entries, the blank one
apparently overriding the one with the path specified.
