You must have your LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable set (pointing to
odbcsdk/lib) before starting apache.

Mac OS X uses DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH instead of LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
When dynamically linking libraries into PHP/Apache, it helps if that is set
to point to your lib directory.

Try grabbing the latest source from snaps.php.net
Also, I've found better luck using sh instead of the default tsh for
compling PHP.
Are you getting Apache errors when starting?
