recently. I had to add this file :

If you type : dpkg -L php-doc (or sudo dpkg -L php-doc) , you will see
where files are installed.

matter what it looks like, and hand it off to a PHP script. Right now
I've accomplished this by sending 404 Not Found errors to a php page.

When building and installing PHP, do I have to (a) build-in ALL the
extensions I want, OR (b) can I build and install PHP with the freedom

when i installed php, then install zend server trial version , it can't
display the php version well, i intall php 5.0.1.but after install zend server trial
version , in phpinfo(),it display 5.0.0 , so i install other php open source software

i am installing Apache 2.0.40 and Php 4.3.1 and Interbase 7 and for some
reason i have problem when my code try to select from a database if the
query is update or insert delete etc. all works well until i try a select.
if i install interbase 6 or lower version then everything is ok.

I have a system that is currently running Redhat 7.3, and has the
default Apache 1.3.x and PHP 4.1.x RPM's installed. We also have suexec
enabled for CGI's. I would like to create a suexec PHP-CGI for a single
VHOST. I compiled a standalone CGI PHP system with the following

I'm trying to compile php-4.1.2 as a DSO module for Apache-0.32.
I don't have enough space in the default location so I put them both in
/d2/usr2/local/...
I couldn't make the stable/release versions on Apache or PHP compile so I
tried the latest versions of each.
For the Apache I used:

After installation of PHP 4.0.6 on a red hat 6.0 linux box with apache 1.3.14 as a
DSO module, I can not locate the libphp4.so file on the system.
Any hints ?

all php 4.03/4.04:
you could get an error about the pdflib version in use, try changing
line 31946 (or around there) of file configure from
LIBS="$LIBS -ltiff -ljpeg -lpng -lz" to
LIBS="$LIBS -ltiff -ljpeg -lpng -lz -lm"
