Hi All,
Is there an active IRC Chanel? Read somewhere (can't remember) that there
is one labeled #pharo. Is this true if so may I ask on which server it
resides?

Hi All,
I am having trouble setting up iceberg to access my repository via ssh.
On the command line I assess it via: git clone u...@server.com:/proj/proj.git
and all works as expected.
When adding trying to add the same repository to iceberg I get a parseUrl
error thrown from class IceScpRemote
Hi All,
Thoughts of a purely OO nature?

W.R.T Database Connectivity:
Hi All,
The database connectivity issue as discussed is near and dear to my
evaluation of Smalltalk(s). It is a huge problem/stumbling block as I see
it.
Here Is a cut and paste of my replay to the Gemstone users group:

All,
Newbie Question:
I filed out a whole package by right clicking on the system browser package
name and got a directory structure similar to the following:
packagename.package
-> monicello meta
-> categories.st
-> initializer.st

l I can find I am properly using WAComponent as application
super class.
I don't see anything in the seaside book regarding bootstrap and I am fallowing
the MOOC section on bootstrap almost to a tee. Accepting the fact that the
library is now SBSDeploymentLibrary rather than TBSDeploymentLibrary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,
I am not able to start my stone as I inadvertantly deleted the ..LCK file. :)
Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks,
Hi All. I'm a long time (25+ years) Smalltalk user, but only 3 days using
Pharo so I'm still stumbling around a bit (lot).
I have an app that I need to run on Windows and a Mac (possibly Linux at a
later date). I've ported the code over from Dolphin and got it working
using Pharo 3.0 on my Windo
Thanks to you both for the confirmation about using the Windows files, it
will make things a lot simpler.
Given the situation I imagine there are a number of ex Dolphin users
floating about here - Hi All. I noticed the, sadly, late Bill Schwab
