This is one of the Hairy Fungus Beetles (Mycetophagidae) - its name is
*Litargus
connexus*. It's associated with damp conditions and mould, and is not
usually regarded as a serious pest. If you find many of them, then that's
an indicator that you need to address humidity issues.

Hi all,
We found this guy in one of our sticky traps, and I've been trying to
identify it. The coloring is exactly that of a black carpet beetle- black
body, reddish legs- but there are no clubs on the antennae. It didn't have
any hair on it either, otherwise I would have guessed drugstore beetle.

I have a beetle that needs identification. I’m thinking some kind of
dermestid, but I’m not sure. Also, it appears to have some dust on it and
I’m not sure if the wings are normally exposed like that or if there’s some
degredation.

Looks a lot like a ground beetle- they are pretty common (in MN). My
understanding is they are not a "museum pest" (damage collection objects),
but they can die inside and become food for other more serious insects (and
possibly indicates porous building envelope).

This is one of the Scarab beetles, I like it for something in the Diplotaxis
genus.
Adults are attracted to lights in the spring so this little one probably came
in from the outside.

Possibly a black lawn beetle, my best guess, because the hooks on legs I do not
think it is a black carpet beetle.
