Hi Olivia This is one of the Hairy Fungus Beetles (Mycetophagidae) - its name is *Litargus connexus*. It's associated with damp conditions and mould, and is not usually regarded as a serious pest. If you find many of them, then that's an indicator that you need to address humidity issues. Best wish

Hi all, We found this guy in one of our sticky traps, and I've been trying to identify it. The coloring is exactly that of a black carpet beetle- black body, reddish legs- but there are no clubs on the antennae. It didn't have any hair on it either, otherwise I would have guessed drugstore beetle.
