Welcome to the world of 001001000100010
Some nice first samples Butch. I really like the mill and the B&W bird.
I have the A28 and it has become the "standard" lens so to speak for my istD.

What's important: how the camera delivers the 'original' files or how
a photographer can make photographs with a camera?
Some of the photos I've presented here that have gotten the best
comments have been ones that really didn't look like much coming out
of the camera, but they ca
Very nice, Butch. I especially like the bird and the mill.

Butch,
the first is a little soft to me & the tail merges with the RH edge,

the second would be a better image without the blank sky
the third suffers from a poorly place subject with the inclusion of the
extraneous
Very nice. The last image with the bird silhouette is interesting; what was
the background actually like?

The yard next door. I kicked up the contrast on curves to take it out of
medium gray.

Hi Butch ...
These pics don't show much, if anything, about how the istDs delivers the
photos. They're all manipulated to a degree that masks the details of the
original files.
