Butch,
the first is a little soft to me & the tail merges with the RH edge,
otherwise a nice bird shot. I like the way you've positioned the wood in the
frame.
the second would be a better image without the blank sky
the third suffers from a poorly place subject with the inclusion of the
extraneous green matter on the RH side & bottom
the forth is an interesting concept but I find the execution lacking with
the inclusion of the black chunk on the RH edge. I see this as a vertical
shot excluding the fence post & about half of the wire fence below the bird
& including some of the leaves in the upper left center. I think this image
with those components could be a great image.
