I just took a look at the Velvia 100 and 100f. It's all greek to me
(japanese to be more exact), but I detected some differences:
100F will also be available in 4x5 5x7 and 8x10 sheets

Last month or so Tom posted a link to some data about film & digital
market trends. Upon closer inspection, it seemed that digital was more
like an additional market, instead of displacing the film one.
The Sensia news are very nice ones, this film tends to be inexpensive
and readily available

Seems like only the F will be marketed here.

but a specialty film (it would probably be great for product shots, maybe sunsets and
sunrises.) I'll be interest
can't help there since i have never shot any 100S. for the time being, i am still
sticking with Provia 100F.
