Pål,
there's only one Velvia 100, and it's called F.
After reading a review at Luminous Landscape (can find the link if it's not
been posted here), and hearing from the guy at the lab I use (he's handed
out a few samples, mine's still in the camera), I'd say that the Velvia 100F
is an attempt to cross the Provia 100F with the classic Velvia 50. The
result of which is basically a Provia with slightly more saturated colours.
Grain like the Provia, ISO like the Provia, contrast more like Provia than
Velvia. Colours less saturated than the classic Velvia.

My test motifs will be flowers. Really curious to see results with my own
eyes.

I suppose this thread started with someone giving their impression. I'll
look it up in the archives.

Cheers,
Jostein

in whether or not Velvia 100 would be a suitable replacement. I can't see
using this as anyting but a specialty film (it would probably be great for
product shots, maybe sunsets and sunrises.) I'll be interested in seeing how
Kodak's new films do.

film. What else could be the resons for two 100ISO Velvia emulsions? Perhaps
it is more of an allrounder.
