Wrotniak is good. There are a couple of other sites listed at the
yahoo list page. There isn't any real way to do manual focus with it.
I mostly just zone focused, which, with the dof these things have
really works pretty well. It's a tough little camera and I used the

Thanks Alan, I will have to check out that list. Most of the stuff I have looked at on the web has been posted by idiots.
Example: The manual focus stinks, I can not tell any difference on the monitor
between nearby and far away.

Used to have a Coolpix 100, Nikons very first digital. Lost it during the
abortitive truck driving thing along with the laptop and some other personal
stuff. Oh well.

great camera. As Godfrey notes it can be frustratingly slow, probably
the main reason I went to a DSLR, but it does take very nice
pictures. Pretty good for low light stuff, given the sensor size.
