Hi,
I am using a Heliopan RG780 Filter on my *ist-D, it cuts visible light
off at 780 nm.
The effect is undenialble. Results look even better than the cover of

One day i will have a website to show you my pics... ;-}

Hi Kevin,
there is a custom function in which you must explicitly engage the
firing with non-A lenses. Have you done that already?
Have you also installed the new firmware which makes metering with
M-lenses much easier?

Hi Kevin,
I don't know your exposure times, but if you take a long time exposure,
say 15 seconds with noise reduction "on", the camera needs a time as
long as the exposure itself to calculate noise reduction. Writung adds
to that but should be the minor part of the process.

Hi,
I had this very same problem, too!

I realised that the contact pins on different brand NiMH cells differ a
little in their dimensions.

For me this feature was one of the main reasons to get an MZ-S.

Isn't it true that the FA lenses also communicate the distance to the
body, so that better evaluation of the matrix metering can be done?
Doesn't this also apply to flash modes?
