its relative to the book. usually books that used to be on cassette don't
have the chapter jump. sometimes they do in cases of books that are short

I'm going off of my memory here, but I believe I've also seen commercial

What settings are you talking about?
The only controls that my NLS player has for settings, are tone volume and
speed.
But what would these have to do with moving from one place to another?

Hello Sunshine,
I could be a little off here, but wouldn't it be some way for them to

I'm asking because, I can use audio editors to seperate the tracks on an old

Wouldn't the same prencible be applied to the books that are on the Bard

The same principle would work, but instead of splitting the tracks with
an audio editor they're using the DAISY standard to mark the different
chapters and headings. I haven't done this myself, or used any of the
DAISY tools, but this is still a manual effort, and NLS has to cut over

I'm not sure either. Does the advanced player have some navigation

High Chris,
Here is what's wrong with the concept you described.
Lets say hypothetically that you had to put your book down for one reason or
another, you go back to it later but you can't remember how the story line
came about.
This is why I feel that jump from chapter to chapter feature is ne

I totally agree, and I definitely appreciate the books that have been

I've had some comments off list regarding my podcast, saying they could
