Try burning it again with windows media player. The problem is most likely
with the media or as another poster has suggested, the writing speed.
Depending what format your music is in, there will probably have been a
conversion to write it to a standard audio CD but it's unlikely that you

Hi,
I have Itunes and have bought tracks from Itunes but have never played
them anywhere else, so might be wrong in what I'm about to say. I
imagine that you can play the tracks you download from itunes in a
player other than Itunes - Winamp, say. If that is the case and

Actually, I do want to be able to take those ITunes with me. I have a
braille plus which means the files would have to be mp3's.
Peace,

Before you get rid of it try wiping of the little bulb on the remote and the

Hello Kevin,
The files that I burned to CD using both peaces of software, are PCM
uncompressed wave files.
They are also 96000 KHZ 32 bit-stereo which is the format that I recorded
them in.
WMP 10 shouldn't have a problem with those types of files, should it?
John.

High Garry,
I tried to get at the burn speed settings in WMP 10, but couldn't find it.
Where is it so that I can go in there and fix it?
John.

No, shouldn't be a problem but you'd really need to repeat the burn to see
if you have a real issue or whether the problem was due to faulty media.

Thanks for your input, tim, concerning my XM receiver problem. Yesterday I
did some fooling around with things and discovered the problem is with my
antenna. I have an extra one here so I put it in the system and the
receiver worked well. So I have ordered a new antenna and a longer cable.

High Garry,
Well if it doesn't work, then maybe I should discontinue using WMP 10 to
burn CD's.
I tried it again earlier before I left here and went to work.
I didn't have time to play it back here at the house, so I gave it a spend
on a CD player at work.
What do you know, even with that one,
Two more ways to get there instead of the tools, options menu:
File, cd and devices sub menu, burn audio cd. Or: view menu, go to sub
menu, burn. Then tab around till you hear "display properties and settings
button" and press spacebar.
Fast way to get there is alt+v, g, b. Then ctrl tab to
High Robert,
Thinks for the helpful tips man!
I went in to WMP, and done what you said to do.
So next time I wish to burn a CD using WMP 10, it will work for me.
I sat it to burn at 1-x.
I know this is very slow, but it won't make those kind of screw ups anymore.
Again, thinks man!
My best regards
Hi,
Do you mean you want to play the tunes on your Braille Plus? Though
I'm not familiar with the Braille Plus, I've just googled it and I'm
99 percent sure it wouldn't work with Itunes. Itunes, though it can
be used as a music management program and media player, is

Hi, Itunes does not work on the braille plus. You would need to copy the
mp3 files onto the device as mentioned by the previous member.

You are welcome. But, you probably don't need to go so slow. On the other
hand, maybe you should look at another burning solution that is more robust.

I just learned from somebody on this list that you can slow down the writing
speed, you have three or four choices, fast to slow. don't give up on it
yet.
