Hi Jitendra,
These scripts sound like a very good idea but you left out one very
important detail. You didn't mention what screen reader these scripts
are for. We don't know if they are scripts that work with Hal,
Window-eyes or JAWS (smile). Now three screen readers support scripts

There are several devices that will connect your tape player to a usb
port. The iMic by Griffin Tech. is great and doesn't mess with your
computer's speech. This little device hooks up to your tape deck, but
can also be used with turntables, etc. One drag is that they are
almost always sold out.
Time to look up the Silicon Chip web site I think, http://www.siliconchip.com.au

Hi I am looking for a USB preferably 7.1 external soundcard with ideally

Optical would do but coax would be better.

If you have a Fry's electronics in your area, you may want to check there.
I priced a recorder with USB connections at a Fry's here in the Dallas area,
and it sells for about $189. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I thought so; it was all to do with the direct sound output plug-in,
which both of the Total Recorder drivers have issues with, such as garbled
or distorted audio. Thanks for letting us know, as I was going to reinstall
the drivers at some point and I'd hate to hear garbled audio without m
This can soon be resurrected, by enabling one or both volume check boxes.

For JAWS for windows, as I don't know to use other screen reader, and
btw, scripting for window eyes for apps that have no api's will be a
problem, and I don't know much of vb scripting, and btw, I need code
contributions to this JAWS script set.
Thanks.

Yeah, not exactly a big selling point. What if you lose them. I bet it costs

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, I got the picture that most of the controls
are on the ear buds that come with this device. If so, that's a show
stopper right there and right now, especially for some of us who can't wear
ear buds or prefer the old fashioned type head sets.
