Hello, I put Jaws 8 on a computer at my job that was running XP pro, while my computer at home was running XP home. I didn't have any problems with my version of Jaws on a system running XP Pro. Try it first and see how well it works for you. If you have any problems, you can always call your DBS

John, The reason you didn't have a problem is that, whether you know it or not, you have an authorization to run JAWS Pro. Otherwise, the JAWS on your work computer would display an authorization error when you start it, and then it would run in 40-minute demo mode. The only difference in JAW

Thank you, I like xp-home just fine but I wanted to get a used laptop and they all come with xp-pro and they want an extra $100 to install xp-home. I have a Del Desktop but they sent it without disks and I cannot copy the xp-hoe onto any other of my coms. Plus, it would have cost me at least a $100

Hello List! I solved the problem of TR7PE's drivers muting or turning down my sound system after installing TR7PE. Well, it was the driver of TR7PE causing the problem. With WXPPro, the TR7PE Kernal Driver does not work and should not be installed. It is okay to install regular TR driver. T
