I put Jaws 8 on a computer at my job that was running XP pro, while my
computer at home was running XP home.
I didn't have any problems with my version of Jaws on a system running XP
Pro.
Try it first and see how well it works for you.

I solved the problem of TR7PE's drivers muting or turning down my sound system
after installing TR7PE. Well, it was the driver of TR7PE causing the problem.
With WXPPro, the TR7PE Kernal Driver does not work and should not be installed.
It is okay to install regular TR driver. T
