Hi Lisa,
You might wish to try JLC's Internet TV. You can get it from
www.jlc-software.com/index.php?page=internet_tv.html
It works well with JAWS and on the page it states:
JLC's Internet TV is a FREE program for watching and browsing thousands of TV
channels freely available on the internet
Hello:
If it's the new model, then it is series two. The only way to tell without
trying to use it, is to read the model number on the back of the unit.
Hope this helps.

As it turns out, this one is easy as it is a station that's part of the Clear
Channel extended family of stations.

Hi all,
I have an older computer, Dell Dimension, probably almost ten years old. I
just installed Windows 98 SE, JAWS 5.0, and GoldWave 4.26. The machine is
networked using a dLink wireless and wired router. I am using GoldWave to

A note for those living outside the U. S. If you have had occasion to
attempt to stream a Clear Channel station but found it impossible, where you
live might be the reason why.
Clear Channel blocks non U. S. residents from listening to all of their

Well, as you are Canadian, I can see why you wouldn't be a CC fan given
that they lock you out.
What I do like about Clear Channel are two things:
(1) They have made a concerted effort to get a good number of stations
streaming
(2) They use a consistent url structure so it is easy to c
Hi all,
I have found that increasingly, my onboard soundcard decides to crash. I would

Hello List Members,
I wish to convert a batch of ape files with Switch.
But When I try to do this, I get a message that says, "the feature you are
about to use, requires the plus version of Switch."
It also says, that I have to buy it.
Is this really needed to convert ape files?
Thanks in advance.
I read somewhere clear channel is about to be purchased. I also
contacted a uk station once about not being able to listen online
anymore. They told e about the non resident restriction, then gave
me a new link. You might try emailing the station you are trying to
listen to and see if they c
You're right Mike, those sound like positives and if I lived where you do, I

Hi

Yeah, but windows media player takes way too long, typical microsoft: it
has to "initialize and get the files ready for copying!" Of course, with

I use JLC's Internet TV with Jaws. Sometimes it is hard to get Jaws focused
in the right area. Understanding the layout of the screen helps. I wish it
used the control tab or f6 to switch tabs. Instead, I need to use the jaws

I really think this is stupid. There waisting money, why not let people from
Canada such as myself or other countries listen to there stations? Seems to
be only in the states, too. Don't mean to sound rude but its usually the
case, anyway.
Anyway, it didn't work for me.

Hi Uncle Steve,
Hope all's well and fine with ya. To answer your question, yes, SF6 does
have limitations of opening up wav files for more than 2 gigs. If you want
to use SF to open files more than 2 gigs, u got to go for SF9D and above.
Hope it helps.

Edwin.
