Hi,
I downloaded the VLC Media Player. I put in my DVD into the PC and the theme
music started up. i still can't figure out how to go to the start of the
actual movie. There are titles and chapters. Forigve me for sounding so
stupid, but I am not certain the difference between them. How can I g
If the audio editor in v8 of Nero is anything like previous versions,
then forget it. Not enough native keyboard support.
Suppose scripts could do something about this, but it's not as though
we've not got decent access to other audio editors.
Still, this said, it would be nice to be able to use
Thanks for your input. Have a great week.

I used to know how to do this but I have an album which won't rip. While it
will play I get a message stating if I want to enjoy the enhanced content I
should download Quick Time software. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Hi,
I can't tell you anything about the list, but I often use WMP 11 to play DVD
movies. In most cases, it's a matter of hitting cntrl S to stop the initial
play, followed by cntrl P to start the commercials before the movie. In many
other cases, merely hitting enter will start the movie.

Hi
Can anyone advise of a program which will allow the playback of wavs, mp3s or
wma files and at the same time taking a feed from a microphone in order to let
someone sing along with the track. Ideally it would be good if there was a
reverb echo facility and even more ideally the opportunity to
Hi John. That's a very good question I guess we'll need to ask them. Mono is
no good to me.

I just can't figure out why someone who seemingly had so much to live for
died in this way. My prayers also go out to him and his family.

To get around this problem, I use DVD Audio Extractor to rip the audio
from the DVD and then I can use WMP, Winamp or any other MP3 player to
listen to the DVD. DVD Audio Extractor isn't free, and it can be
downloaded from http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/.

Hi Brett and listers,
I will gladly take the cassettes off of your hands.
I run a nonprofit program that teaches the various aspects of the music
industry, so my students can use the tapes for songwriting projects. If

Hi, sornar 4 or I think it is up to version six now is very good for this
type of recording. Also if you have any vision, Adobe Audition is good for
multi-tracking. Soundforge can also do this type of recording. I use all
three programs. But I mainly use sornar for multi-tracking because the
Thanks Dan. I'll look at the specs.

Hi,
Now I have another question, please! Is there any programs that would let me
to take out the singing voice, and just take the music itself? Suppose I
have a Michael Jackson cd, and I want to cut out his singing part, and just
get the music melody, and turn it into Karaoke. Is that possible?
Hi Vy fam
You can use Adobe audition for this - it's not perfect but it does work
quite well with a bit of time and adjusting. With Jaws only version 1.5 is
fairly accessible. There is a program called Vocal Remover from Power
Karaoke (I think that's the name of the provider) - you could google
It is problematic, can be done to an extent, but not in stereo.
