I don't know how to phrase this problem of mine, Well, let me say that I am
unable to receive a continuous live stream either from a radio station or from
a television feed. The stream starts and plays for a few seconds and then
stops for several seconds or even for a minute or 2. Th
My main objection to any kind of this type of radio is not knowing what's
being played. I would like to know how to find out who the artists are and
what the song titles.
Drives me nuts.

Have you tried increasing the buffering time? this will cause the player to
hold more data in memory so streams will run more smoothly.

you could be having problems because you are using a dialup connection, what

It's just regular commercial radio with a few more stations thrown
in. Eventually it will be there in some form but it won't be this
form. If you are disappointed in regular broadcast radio then just

the most part free from break-up. Lots of choice out there, as most major
broadcasters have an internet stream, as an alternative way to promote their

I think so. I created a folder in favorites titled "Net Radio" and merely paste
icons of my favorite stations right into it. I paste the icon directly from
whichever page actually plays the content, so I don't have to click on the link
each time I visit the site, such as ESPN live streams, WTAM

this time, and for those boat anchors they are old TV's that are not worth
repairing if they break down,and for the repair shop they will charge at
least a hundred bucks just to check it out. For the price of a check o
"United snakes" - a bit harsh I think...

Center Edition, as this edition is considered to be a version of
Windows XP Professional. You may need a more current version of
Jaws, too. Not sure about that. I am using Media Center 2005 with
