Mackie is more expensive, but the signal to noise ratio is supposed to be
better. I would analyze what you are going to use it for.
If it's in your budget and you are broadcasting, I would go for something
more high end, but if you just wish to transfer some music or tape, you can

Both Replay AV and RadioTime are great programs; and I have both on my pc.
There are a couple of advantages associated with RadioTime vs Replay.
As Radiotime (the program is actually called Redbutton) is managed via the
website, rather from within the program, you can modify your recording

Hello,
I'm looking for an accessible mp3 player. I'd prefer off the shelf
commercial. I've heard good things about Creative's Xen Stone mp3 player,
and was wondering if anyone had one and could relate experiences positive or
negative about it?
I've also heard of Rockbox, i have no other
I have one and have a audio demo of it on my website listed below. It's a
great little player for the price and 100 percent accessible.

Memory isn't expandable unfortunately. If you live in the US you can
purchase the zen stone at many places including wal-mart, amazon, newegg,
circuit city and so on.

I have a Zen Stone and an iRiver H20 running Rockbox. I agree with
everything Rick said about the Zen Stone and have nothing to add!
Rockbox is open source firmware that you can use to replace the firmware
that comes loaded on your MP3 player. This firmware wasn't designed to
be accessible, but
Hi Rick witch model of the Zen stone do you have?
Also how is the radio on that unit?
Does it also have any internal speakers or do you have to use only headphone
for listening to it?
Also how long does the battery last in that unit?

I'm not Rick, but I think we have the same Zen Stone. The model is just
the Zen Stone. It has a capacity of 1GB. It doesn't have a radio. It
doesn't have a display or speakers. You have to use head phones or
powered speakers with it. The battery is advertised to last for about 12
hours. I haven
