In limited exploration, I didn't find that program to be terribly
accessible. What I use it for is to quickly and effortlessly split an mp3
file into smaller files of a chosen length. that is a breeze.

17 Gig not true as far as I am concerned. There either 4 or 8 gig. The 8
gig are double sided and your burner needs to support those. Also they are
quite expensive. I myself use the 4 gig ones. It works out to around 4.4
gig actually.

darn thing is, that getting the program on that web site is a bit of a
challenge, spent fifteen minutes trying to get it to download and failed.
Maybe I was tired last night? :)
Thanks for the heads up though on this free program.

Indeed, it's great for splitting mp3 files which I do for burning onto
audio cds for use in our car.
Also, it's great for quickly commencing a quick and dirty recording of
audio coming through the sound card as it permits for command line
start-ups which I commence via a hotkey.

Hi all,
I now have a sony vaio with my dvd plus on it. I have loaded a video, but it
won't allow me to burn it to dvd. I can however make a dvd folder. Can this be
burnt to dvd, and played on a dvd player?
Thanks,

Kim,
I've got an ipod video 30 GB. I use rockbox. I absolutely love the thing.
It voices files, folders, and all menu items. The menu's interface is
different than the ipods, but in a good way imho. The manual is very
accessible and, if I do say so myself, helpful. The voices are clear and

I thought I heard once that the average DVD holds from between 4 and 6 GB.
Now with bluray and/or HD DVD there could be a lot more that those disks can
hold! There might be no limits to the amount, eventually! But also, I
believe that Bluray or HD DVD's could be quite costly if you buy just on
But I thought that the Bluray disks could hold up to 20 gigs!

Yes, the pop-up menus I described in Fusion are perfectly accessible
and VoiceOver will read them so therefore you can change the options
"on-the-fly" whilst your virtual machine is running or before you
start running the virtual machine whilst in Fusion.

I recently purchased an Iriver h320 and when I plugged it into my computer
and tried to unzip the rockbox file to it I got an error saying the drive
was not a valid file structure or something similar. Do I need to format the
drive first? The unit was used, and there was no manual.
email and MSN:
I'll certainly bare that in mind as I plan to purchase one of these little
beauties next year.
