If you are interested in splitting mp3 files without using goldwave
then mp3DirectCut works well. It is free and works directly on the
mp3 file so there is no loss of audio quality. I use it on mp3 files
created from audio books on cassette to make them easier to navigate.

Charlie, I don't think, that the Wifi Radio from Acoustic Energy is very
accessible. One cannot control it via a router. Other Wireless radios
allow that. However, the Wifi Radio seems to be the only RealAudio
capable one. Reciva based radios do not allow the user to just enter the
address of a str
Audacity 4 Blind list is still around.

I think I figured out a way to eliminate capturing your screen
reader's synthesized speech at the very beginning of a recording
it makes via the "Audio Output - through sound card/speakers"
method. Some stations do not allow the stream capture method as
some of you already know and for such station
Thanks, I noticed this program in another message and tried it out. So
far it works fairly well. And pretty darn fast too.
