Hi,
I am recording a file in wav format and then saving it to mp3. No matter
what I do, it saves it at 22 and I want 44.1 When I resample, it sounds like
a chipmunk. It's double speed. I know there is a way to bring up the quality
to 44.1. Can someone help?
Thanks,

If you cannot get the power pack you need then perhaps an alternative
may be the new high capacity rechargable batteries around now? Get a
couple of sets and a quick charger.

The light, that normally can be seen very clearly when recording, can now
be turned off.
The point, where files are split automatically can now be adjusted.
Previously, files were always split when a size of 2 gb was reached.
The firmware can be downloaded by going to the following ad

Today, I read the first hands-on review of the DS-40. The reviewers,

I have a habit of using total recorder (newest) to record music, played
after total recorder has started. I get these pauses at the beginning
and end. Is there any way that I can set something so this doesn't
happen? I am not good enough with the program to cut the pauses out
myself. Any sugges

I know there is a way to get your normal view back in Windows Media Player.
Open the Now Playing sub menu from the view menu. Choose no visualisation.
That works for me. This might not fix your problem with playing dvds. I
haven't tried a dvd with WMP yet.

I have just been playing with Studio Recorder for the first time.
The mix command along with the Arming the document seems to be a great feature.
However when mixing the two files, I thought I would have been able to preview
the sound as I adjust the levels, but this does not seem to be possible,
hmm, I haven't encountered this. Do you have the professional version? I do
I don't remember the the normal version can do or not.
It's pretty easy to edit the file, if you want to learn let me know.

Yes, playing one file and recording the other is a nice feature. Say you
want to record a voice ove a music backing but want make sure you finish
before the end of the track. Hearing the music track in the headphones gives
you an idea how long you have to the end of the track.

I'm cureious, why do you need to ajust the levels within the software
itself, can you not ajust the levels using the Windows Volume
control? That way you can hear what's happening when you're recording
with whatever you're recording with.
