It may be according to the version of jaws or window eyes you are using. I
am using jaws 7.1 with Napster with no problems. Yes, there are times you
will have to use your jaws cursor to bring a screen forward.

You can STILL set the volume levels independently, even with the wave-out
output, if you check the Enable volume control checkbox, in the Wave-Out
Configuration dialogue.

However, finding and setting the output device selection drop-down in the
Direct sound Output Configuration dialogue is a bit more difficult than in
the Wave-Out configuration dialogue. It requires use of the JAWS cursor, to
find the drop-down, and then routing of the PC cursor to the JAWS curso
When I rip CDs with Easy CD-DA Extractor, I select AACPlus, 128kbps and

from? Is the 44.1 figure "per channel," and the track info dialogue

Let me confirm that this is correct. You can, in fact, set the volume
control *independent* of the software speech with the waveout plugin,
as long as you have the checkbox for volume control enabled checked.
I do it all the time here.

Hi,
It appears from my experience that the sample rate value is doubled. I am
not sure if this is per channel or not, but that seems to be the case. You
can get a 44.1KHZ file with a bitrate of 22050. I'm not sure the technical
reason, but that's how it operates.

Thanks a million. At least I also got the manual from the aor USA website
for the AR3000a.
I see that the manual is copyrighted for 1992 I think! And yet the receiver
is still manufactured. Rather remarkable for something like this to be on
the market for so long!

Thanks.

I wonder if it could be made to work with those ATA devices, assuming I get
one on Ebay that actually isn't locked to anywhere and will let me into the
techy settings to reconfigure it. This sounds neat for a free service, but I
imagine it's proprietary like Skype.

There is one of IRTI's user guides for the MZ-B100 posted in their
new accessible media library:

It is in their new format which needs to be unpacked or somehow
converted using their free eClipse Water tool. I haven't tried this

And click on equipment, then sony, then find the model. That page will give
