Hi. I quite like the Sam Encoders actually,
for many reasons.
Firstly the number of encoders to choose from. While the Ogg support
isn't the best initially, i've been able to get more updated ogg.dll
files which improve it vastly! I like having choices you know. I like
No thanks I know the program you mean I have it and don't like it because it

ok folks,
in order to fix my original problem with burning mixed mode cds, I have
switched over to nero 7.2, which probably is just like nero 7.0.
now, when i press the alt key in for example the nero burning rom program,
which is what i mainely use, i get no feedback as to whether or not any m
That looks correct to me.
128 Megabyte played over 36 hours would be 8 KBPS.

Hi
I've now managed to make a compilation CD from tracks downloaded from the
net, all in mp3 format.
I have a large cd collection, how do I go about copying whole albums or
various tracks from an existing cd on to a blank cd, to make my own
compilation for example?
i use Nero 6
Thanks

Hi Trace.
Yes, you can convert MP3 to WAV. However, if you're burning a CD with most
burning programs such as Nero, they will convert directly from MP3 to CD for
you so you don't need that intermediate step.

Hi Trace.
It would be best for you to rip your CD's to your hard drive and then create
your compilation in the same way as you did for those tracks you downloaded.
You can use media player, CDEX or a few other rippers to do this and you'll
need to choose a format you're happy with. I'd recommend
hi all,
I'm listening to a stream of 16KBPS. It should run fine with no buffering.
I'm using winamp 5.24. version 5.23 didn't buffer on 24k streams, and this
one is on a 16k. How do I stop it? It should be able to stream regularly,
shouldn't it?
thanks

Hi. That's what you call internet traffic my friend. It can be a
really low quality stream, but if there's a lot of internet activity
going on between you and the stream, it's gonna happen, no matter
what the stream is.

hi kevin,
There is software that is offered by the maker of wave pad. It will convert
text to MP3, it is called Verbose. I personally don't like it because it
doesn't have batch conversion and isn't nearly as fast as kurzweil, but it
integrates with all the other programs he offers which is good. T
