Hi Denise.
Firstly, it can make a difference which ripping program you use with respect
to artist, album and track titles. Each program generally uses a different
database and so results can vary. However, the format you use such as MP3,
WAV or WMA will make no difference whatsoever to track nam
Hello Arnaud!
Thank's for your response.
I guess I'll dig some more to find a way to get this to work for me!

Hi,
Thanks. That is a very comprehensive answer.
Can you say if there is an accessible cd ripping program that might have a
better database than another. I was just giving windows media player 10 a
try since it came with my synew system and because there are so many changes

Hi,
I just found out something today!
It seems I was looking in the wrong place for the meanings of the
filters--they're all right there in the help! Number 2 is you can test the
filters. Jaws doesn't tell you sometimes (like in the equilizer, for
instance) what is "50 percent). So you test fi
well--before this incident with my player--I would've recommended the PNY
vibe. Although I stil think it might be the USB cable, I bought it since my
other one broke and its not from the manufacturer. Would that void my
warranty? I've been looking at the tosheeba giggabeat since its just

hi tyler,
You say you want recording and all that, so i've gotta inform you that the
gigabeat doesn't do that. It's an mp3 player. It plays MP3, WMA and WMA DRM.
It's hard to set up, and I think that if you want to use DRM you have to
connect it to media player. It encrypts everything sent to it in
Tyler I don't know the answer to your question, but thought I might add a
few things that might help.
You can just press alt T for the test filters button, and then alt P to stop
playing. That will save you from having to tab so much.
Actually alt P works to press the stop playing button except
Um, like what? It is called adocity. What eles do ya need to know?

It seems as though the buffer on Windows Media Player 10 can't be set past
60. I wish it could be set longer because sometimes it just seems like, on
some stations, 60 just plain isn't enough.

I don't know that a USB cable would void any warranties! I almost bought a
PNY but I read some reviews and comments from people that stated that tech
support was not good. hopefully we shall all find a player we can live with.
