I'm told that, in Winamp, there is a visual indicator of when the currently

I'm using 5.23 build 666... that is quite an interesting build number. lol.
anyways, in this version which is pretty much the final build of 5.23 the
latest version it doesn't appear to have changed. the newest version you can
use is 5.13 for internet radio. i can't exactly remember a URL but go
using shoutcast.com is just as easy and you can use the latest version
without any problems. you can still bookmark the channels by finding and
playing them from shoutcast.com.

There should be a distiction made between being able to listen to Internet
radio, which is perfectly doable with Winamp 5.23 (the final release
version is out), and using the media library, which is apparently tricky
to do. Since I don't use the library, this is not an issue to me.

Looking for recommendations on Telephone Answering Machine Software.
Hopefully "speech friendly", and able to be flexible with recording
incoming and outbound messages, and would be nice if it had Caller ID
to direct callers to certain message boxes.

Sorry, but this doesn't work. It seems as if it will pan whether or not the
recording is in stereo, as long as there are two tracks (even two mono

Hello Pete. I'd check out the fine software from:

I can't comment on his telephone software but I use his tone generator and
his wavepad and both work great so I would assume that all his software is
speech friendly. Please let us know if you find something you like.

hi
this could be also the way it was recorded. if you ripped the tracks all at
once, they'll all be in the same format, reguardless of their own
properties. if a whole cd is ripped in stereo and there are mono tracks on
it, they will be encoded as stereo, even though they sound mono.
Brandon Hicks
ah, but here's the deal, the track is mono, but it was probally ripped in
stereo. unless you tell your cd riper to rip in mono, it will rip in
stereo.

I was just about to post a message saying that this is what I
