We have Nero Version 5.0 installed on our computers. We really haven't done
much recording, but Friday I needed to make copies of a file and used the
program. It was easier than I thought. I recorded the cds from a file on
my hard drive.

Doing a full backup sure can be a pain as it not only depends upon the
cApabilities of the program you are using but also there may be hardware
issues? Some hard drives require that you drag-n-drop programs to be copied
is one example.

whenever I select a stream, I get a message which reads, "cannot read the

If you can play the DVD in a stand alone DVD player or Power DVD or Win DVD
then it is probably copy protection. Get a copy of Any dvd and then try it.
